\n
Say it with me:
\nI am capable of more than I realize. My gifts are already within meâI just need to unlock them.
\nYour Gifts Have Hidden Settings
\nThe other day, I learned that my washer and dryer had way more settings than I originally thought. For over a year, I used the same basic cycles, assuming that was all that was available.
\nBut one random day, I accidentally touched the options button and discoveredâI had been underutilizing what was right in front of me đ˛
\nAnd if Iâm honest? Thatâs a lot like how we treat our own gifts.
\nAs multi-hyphenate women, we have so many talents and capabilities, but sometimes we keep operating in default modeâsticking to whatâs familiar, even when weâre capable of more.
\nThe truth is:
\nAnd another thing:
\nSo todayâs personal brand tip đđž
â
â
1ď¸âŁ Audit Your Skills
\nAsk yourself: What am I great at that Iâm not even leveraging? You might have talents youâve been overlooking simply because youâve never applied them in new ways.
\nOr because you think itâs easy đ
\nRemember, youâre not just multi-passionate; youâre multigifted! And what comes to you naturally is extremely hard for others.
\nDonât discount yourself!
\nâ
\n2ď¸âŁ Expand Your Idea of Success
\nAre you limiting yourself to one version of success because itâs all youâve ever known?
â
đđž Example: If youâre a writer, maybe your success isnât just in bloggingâit could be speaking, podcasting, or consulting.
\nAnd for the record, it doesnât have to be on social media. Youâd be amazed at what successful things you can build offline.
\nThe opportunities are limitless!
\nâ
â
3ď¸âŁ Test New \"Settings\" In Real Life
\nTrying something new doesnât mean starting from scratchâit just means tweaking the approach.
\nâ
đđž Example: If youâve been offering one-on-one services, what would happen if you packaged your knowledge into a workshop or course?
â
\nFinal takeaway: Your potential isnât missingâitâs just waiting to be fully unlocked.â
â
I already mentioned my washer and dryer discovery above so I wonât bore you by repeating it.
\nAnyway...that seemingly small discovery was my wake-up call to stop operating in default mode.
\nTo stop assuming that just because something works doesnât mean itâs the best way.
\nTo stop playing small with my own potential.
\nSo now? Iâm actively exploring what else I can unlock in my life and brand.
\nNot in an exhaustion, hustle-mode way but in a âwait, I can actually do thatâ mindset.
\nSo far, itâs simple things like perfecting my pot roast in a crockpot skills and returning to carefree blogging (more on that next issue).
\nBut overall, itâs refreshing to remember that Iâm that woman who can accomplish anything I put my mind to.
\nđđž So my question for you is this: Where in your life are you stuck in default mode?
âWhat hidden potential have you yet to tap into?
Because trust meâthereâs more waiting for you than you think.
\nSee you in two Tuesdays,
\nTamara Sykes
